NetApp INSIGHT 2025 has wrapped up and it did not disappoint. What a week of innovative announcements (AI anyone?), entertaining customer events (winning a jackpot is always fun!), and pin/swag collection (Tech peeps LOVE their swag!).
After attending this year’s NetApp INSIGHT as part of the ProActive Solutions team, I’m excited to share my experiences with you.

Key Takeaways from NetApp 2025
Artificial Intelligence was mentioned in just about every keynote, breakout session, and trade floor exhibit. The event kicked off with a focus on AI in the opening keynote address, “The Future Begins with a Strong Foundation: Unleashing Success with an Intelligent Data Infrastructure for AI.” The keynote explored how NetApp helps companies modernize and unify their data infrastructure, optimize operations, and reach new levels of innovation across AI, security, data services, and cloud.
INSIGHT 2025 demonstrated how NetApp is walking the walk with its partnerships and driving innovative new solutions alongside NVIDIA, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.
New products such as NetApp AFX and NetApp AIDE had attendees buzzing. Wall Street must have liked the announcements because the company’s stock price was in the green during the week.
NetApp AFX Portfolio
NetApp AFX stole the show as the first disaggregated all-flash storage system certified for NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD supercomputing to reach the market.
Powered by NetApp ONTAP, NetApp AFX enables your company to use a single platform to manage Enterprise and AI data, simplifying management and delivering the vigilant security protection customers have come to rely on with ONTAP.
NetApp AIDE
A highlight of the AFX portfolio is NetApp AI Data Engine (AIDE). AIDE addresses the data organization and quality challenges many customers face when designing an AI solution. Providing support from ingestion to serving data to Gen AI apps, AIDE is the end-to-end data solution companies have been searching for.
Cloud Innovations
Several new cloud solutions were announced, and the ONTAP solution was often touted throughout the conference as the only unified data operating system that spans on-prem and is natively integrated with Azure, AWS, and GCP.

The session “NetApp cloud - Building the most differentiated AI-era storage platform” addressed cloud transformation. This session explores how companies use NetApp Cloud Storage for demanding workloads at scale.
