Boston, Red Hat, and WOW, What a Strategy!

We started our modernization focus about five years ago and knew selecting market leaders as our partners would be critical to our growth and success. If you look at Gartner, Forrester, or any other industry analyst, it is a no-brainer that Red Hat needs to be on your line card to help clients with their multi-cloud, orchestration, and automation journey. Our relationship has blossomed during this time, and we were recently honored with an invitation to join an exclusive round table with Red Hat executives.

Hard to believe summer is coming to an end and school is starting. ProActive Solutions has been busy helping clients deploy new technology while educating many eager learners on hot topics such as Automation, Email Security, and Private Cloud. We celebrated the winners of our concert drawings and sang with joy at the Taylor Swift show. We look forward to rocking out with Billy Joel/Stevie Nicks and dancing the night away with Beyonce. Cisco Live 2023 is a wrap, so we want to share some of the event highlights. This year, Cisco Live took place early in June at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The event provided on-demand education, community-building activities, and inspiration to global technology innovators, Cisco customers, and partners.

Companies face many challenges when trying to keep up with the rapidly evolving threat landscape. Cyberattacks are becoming more severe and sophisticated, making them difficult to detect, prevent, and remediate.

What a whirlwind May was as we attended several conferences, wrapping up with Red Hat Summit. Red Hat integrated AnsibleFest into Summit this year, providing a diverse amount of sessions, including technical, strategic, and a number of customer use case sessions, which were a personal favorite.

A few of us recently attended Red Hat’s AnsibleFest in Chicago. We heard from some big brands, such as Wells Fargo, Home Depot, and DATEV eG. It was great to hear success stories regarding their automation journey and some important lessons learned along the way.

Forbes identified automation as one of its Top 10 Digital Transformation Trends for 2023. Companies are embracing automation to replace time-consuming and error-prone manual configuration processes, promote standardization and reliability, and overcome IT staff shortages.

IBM has always prided itself on staying ahead of the curve when it comes to designing technology. The arrival of the highly anticipated IBM Power10 scale-out and release of midrange servers is further proof of Big Blue’s commitment to continuous innovation.

As small and medium businesses (SMBs) adopt a cloud-first approach to technology that includes complex models, such as hybrid and multicloud, they face new challenges. These challenges include how to manage a complex and distributed infrastructure at scale, achieve end-to-end automation, and develop and test cloud-native apps.
