The summer 2025 technology conference season heated up the IT landscape with three leading technology companies holding events: Red Hat Summit, Cisco Live, and Nutanix .NEXT. ProActive had Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in attendance at all 3 conferences to report on their experiences.

Red Hat Summit 2025
The 2025 Red Hat Summit had many highlights, including the introduction of RHEL 10 with OS-as-Container and RHEL Lightspeed for AI-enhanced Linux management. Other notable themes of the conference were the evolution of OpenShift for hybrid cloud strategy, AI strategy, and the next generation of Ansible for automation. Overall, the Summit predicted that the future of IT will be intelligent, automated, and containerized
Cisco Live 2025
This year, Cisco Live was held in San Diego, a welcome change from the usual Las Vegas venue. The event offered many hand-on experiences such as walk-in labs and in-depth, 4-hour technical labs. The biggest announcement was that new Cisco network hardware is now accessible through the Meraki dashboard. Cisco also revealed AI integrations for improved troubleshooting that include a Splunk ThousandEyes integration.
Nutanix .NEXT 2025
Nutanix .NEXT 2025 revealed 3 things that surprised our SME. The conference highlighted Nutanix Enterprise AI (NAI) with a NVIDIA framework and integration. Sessions explored user experience enhancement, including those for simplifying management. Our SME found the announcement of the Pure Storage + Nutanix partnership the most exciting revelation of the conference.
